Luke Hauert broke the Northern State school record and extended his lead on the NSIC performance list in the 110-meter hurdles over the weekend.  The senior clocked a time of 14.17 seconds to win the event at the Kip Janvrin Open on Friday evening.  That effort was the second of three attempts at the 110-meter race on the weekend, which covered both the Drake Relays and the Kip Janvrin Open.  Hauert finished eighth at the Drake Relays on Saturday afternoon after recording a 46-second split on the 400-meter leg of NSU's sprint medley relay.  His time of 14.17 seconds in the hurdles puts him 11th in the nation in that event.
