Northern State senior Lucas Jung (Sr., Aberdeen, S.D.) gave the Wolves a solid boost on the mound with his complete-game performance in Game 1.  Jung surrendered just two runs on seven hits while striking out three to earn his first win of the season.  His lone mistake was allowing a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third that gave WSC its first and only lead of the game.
