Poppen led Northern State in the NSIC opening weekend with a goal and an assist. She scored her first goal of the season in the Wolves 1-1 tie with Winona State. The sophomore added an assist on Savannah Funk’s goal in the Sunday contest with Concordia-St. Paul. The South Dakota native tallied one shot on goal, one goal, and one assist in 146 minutes of play.
