Zimmel improved his record to 2-4 with a 6-0 victory over Sioux Falls. He tossed a complete 7.0-inning shutout against the Cougars. The junior allowed just three hits to 26 batters, while racking up seven strikeouts. The Minnesota limited opposing hitters to a mere .125 batting average in the game.
