Owens led Northern State softball in their 4-0 opening weekend. She hit .750 with 12 hits, including four doubles and one triple. The Bismarck native notched a 1.125 slugging percentage and added a team leading ten RBI and eight runs scored. She recorded multiple hits in each of the four wins and played perfect defense with 15 putouts and three assists. The senior tallied a weekend high six RBI, three doubles, and one triple, going 4-for-4 in Saturday’s victory over Valley City State.
