2019-20: Swam personal bests in the 50 free (24.67), 100 free (53.95), and 200 free… Ranked in the top-50 in the NSIC in the 50 free, 100 free, and 200 free…

2018-19: She completed her junior season with her best times in the 50 free, 50 back, and 50 breast… At the NSIC meet, she finished the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.51… She made the finals in the 100 free, 500 free, and 200 free this past season… Also was apart of the 200 freestyle relay team that broke the school record...

2017-18: Recorded season best times of 25.00, 54.04, 1:55.96, 5:18.07, and 11:09.31 in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free, and 1000 Free, respectively…. Gillund also recorded a season best time of 28.16 in the 50 Fly… Was a part of the 400 Free Relay team that broke the school record coming in at 3:30.70…

2016-17: Competing in the 200 yard freestyle relay, Josie Gillund, Gentry Musgrove, Sierra Ohm and Jamie Fuse, completed NSIC Finals in 1:40.49 for an eighth place finish overall... placed 12^th overall with a time of 5:18.29 in the 500 yard freestyle...  Kayla Sproles, Edda Skoric, Josie Gillund and Hannah Kastigar earned a 3:31.84 finish for fifth place from the NSIC Championships, beating out the school record by three seconds...

Prep: Josie Gillund is a 5-foot-9 freestyle swimmer out of Magic City High School and the ASK Swim Club. She is a 4-year letter winner and senior team captain for the Magicians under head coach Emily Weeks. Gillund is a 2-time North Dakota State Champion in the 200 freestyle relay and a 9-time state place winner. She is a 3-time All-Conference performer and the recipient of the 2013 Magi Award and 2015 Rudser Award of Excellence. She is the daughter of Eileen Dolan Gillund and Paul Gillund.
