Biography

2017-18: Made NCAA appearances in the 200 Free, 100 Back, and 200 Back, coming in with times of 1:54.65, 55.94, and 1:58.27, respectively… From the NSIC Championships, Skoric broke the school record in the 100 Back with a time of 55.82, coming in fifth, the 500 Free with a time of 5:04.59, coming in eighth, and the 200 Back with a time of 1:57.39… She was also a part of the 400 Free Relay team that broke the school record with a time of 3:30.70… Skoric was the champion of the NSIC with her first place finish in the 200 back, giving her All-Conference honors, and also received All-American honors coming in 3rd in the same event at the NCAA Championships… Skoric’s 1:57.39 from the NSIC Championships gave her the only ‘A’ cut of the NCAA Championships…

2016-17: Earned two individual and four relay school records, including the 100 back (57.48), 200 back (2:01.08), 200 medley relay (1:49.39), 400 medley relay (3:53.47), 400 free relay (3:31.84) and 800 free relay (7:34.10)... The time of 2:00.29 earned her a third place finish in consolation, placing 11th overall at the NCAA Championships in the 200 back for the first All-American honors of her career...

Prep: Edda Skoric is a 6-foot-1 backstroke swimmer out of Rijeka Croatia. She competed for SMSI Fiume as a prep recording personal records in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, and 200 breaststroke. Skoric enters the NSU program with personal record times which meet the NCAA 'B' national qualifying standard. She is the daughter of Morena and Davor Skoric.
