Biography

2019-20: Recorded indoor personal bests in the 55m (7.53), 55m hurdles (8.85), and pentathlon (3,400)… Tallied nine top-10 finishes in the indoor season… Earned NSIC All-Conference honors, finishing third in the pentathlon…

2018-19: Finished 15th from the NSIC Multi Events with 2,247 points in the pentathlon… Recorded an outdoor personal best of 5.23m (17-02.00) in the long jump… Finished 11th from the NSIC Multi Events with a personal best 4,094 points in the heptathlon… Notched eight top-10 finishes during the outdoor season…

2017-18: Competed in the multi events for the Wolves… Recorded season bests of 2:34.56 in the 800m, 9.71 in the 60H, 1.54m in the high jump, 5.34m in the long jump, 10.77m in the triple jump, 8.20m in the shot, 29.99m in the javelin, 3022 points in the pentathlon, and 3498 points in the heptathlon… Tallied 14 top ten finishes on the season…

Season and Career Bests

Prep: Dakota Hutzler is a jumper/sprinter/hurdler out of Rio High School. She is a 4-year letter winner and 2-year team captain for the Vikings under head coach Deb Hutzler. Hutzler holds nine school records at Rio High School and is the Trailways Conference record holder in the long and triple jump. Hutzler is an All-State competitor in the long jump, triple jump, and 100m dash, and is a 9-time state qualifier. She is a state place winner in the triple jump (2015-4th, 2016-4th), 100m dash (2015-5th), 300m hurdles (2015-6th), and long jump (2016-6th). She is also a member of the basketball and volleyball teams at Rio High School. She is the daughter of Deborah and Timothy Hutzler.
