Burnsville, Minn. – For the fifth time this season, Northern State University senior Miranda Ristau has been named the NSIC North Division Player of the Week.
 
Quick Hits on the Wolves
- The Northern State University women's basketball wrapped up cross-divisional play with two wins over Upper Iowa and Winona State, going 7-1 on the year against the South
- The Wolves shot 48.7 percent from the floor, 40.0 percent from the arc, and 77.4 percent from the foul line
- They averaged 69.0 points, 33.5 rebounds, 18.5 assists, 11.0 turnovers, 4.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game
- Two Wolves finished the weekend averaging double figures, while eight women shot 40.0 percent or better from the floor
- With two weeks remaining in the regular season, the Wolves sit second overall in the NSIC North, one game behind MSU Moorhead, and third overall in the league
- Miranda Ristau led the team averaging 23.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, while shooting a team leading 54.1 percent from the floor
- Jill Conrad averaged 13.5 points and 4.5 boards per game in the two wins

- Averaged 23.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game with 47 points and 15 rebounds over the weekend
- Shot a team leading 54.1 percent from the floor and went 7-of-9 from the free throw line
- Added seven assists and one steal, as well as a team high three blocks
- Tallied 24 points and nine rebounds in a 68-66 win at Upper Iowa
- Notched her tenth and 11th straight games in double figures
- Named NSIC Player of the Week for the fifth time this season (11/13/17, 11/20/17, 12/20/17 & 01/08/18)
