Men's and Women's Basketball to Face Golden Bears and Peacocks in NSIC Tournament Opening Round

Burnsville, Minn. – The Northern State men's and women's basketball teams will host the opening round of the Sanford Health/NSIC Basketball Tournament on Wednesday, February 21. The women will face off against Upper Iowa at 6 p.m. after earning the top seed in the North. The men will tip-off with Concordia-St. Paul at 8 p.m. after earning the top seed in the North as well. Upper Iowa enters the tournament with a 2-26 record overall and 0-22 record in the NSIC. The Wolves women concluded the regular season with a 24-4 record overall and 19-3 mark in the league. Concordia-St. Paul holds a 5-23 record overall and 4-18 mark in the NSIC, while the NSU men finished the year 27-3 overall and 20-2 in the league in regular season action. 
 
Due to conference regulations, all Wolves Club season ticket holders are required to purchase a ticket at the door. Wolves Club members will be able to sit in their reserved seat and reserved parking passes will be honored. All gate revenue belongs to the NSIC. Wolves Clubs members are able to enter as usually and purchase their ticket at the WC gate.
 
Tickets are $12 for adults, $2 for students, and children 5 and under will be admitted free. Northern State students will be admitted free to the game with their student ID card.
