Hailey Busch Earns First AVCA All-American Honor

Lexington, Ky. – Northern State University junior Hailey Busch has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America third team. The honor is Busch's first of her career after leading the Wolves to a 23-7 season.
 
Busch led the team with 344 kills this season, averaging 4.05 per set. She hit .271 on the year while adding seven assists, 23 aces, and 36 blocks. The Kasson native was third on the team with 245 digs, averaging 2.88 per set. Busch finished the regular season ranked third in the NSIC in kills per set. She ranks 21st in kills per set, 24th in points per set, and 50th in attacks per set in the nation. The redshirt junior tallied a career high 23 kills against Cal State San Bernardino and 25 digs against Augustana. She has recorded 20 matches with double-digit kills and eight matches with double-digit digs. She was named to the NSIC All-Conference first team, D2CCA All-Region team, and AVCA All-Region team.
 
She is the fourth All-American in Northern State volleyball history, alongside Kelsey Chambers (2013, 2015) and Drew Smith (2015).
