Burnsville, Minn. – Northern State University senior, Jill Conrad, nabbed her first NSIC North Division Player of the Week of the season and the Wolves third following the official NSIC opening weekend.

- The No. 16 Northern State women's basketball opened league play with two wins over Minot State and U-Mary
- The Wolves averaged 74.5 points and 48.5 rebounds, out-scoring their opponents by 15.0 and out-rebounding their opponents by 17.0
