The 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Volleyball Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Northern State redshirt sophomore setter Ashley Rozell was named to the district seven team for the Wolves.
 
Rozell has paced the Northern State offense this season to a .287 attack percentage, averaging 13.96 kills per set. She has accumulated 1,189 total assists, averaging 11.89 per set which ranks eighth nationally. The Warner native has added 53 kills, 55 blocks, 213 digs, and a team leading 55 service aces. She ranks 12^th nationally in service aces per set (0.55) and 14^th in total service aces. She is also 24^th in the nation in total assists this season. Rozell holds a 3.95 GPA at Northern State, majoring in Finance.
 
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, with first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in December. The Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division. The College Division includes all NAIA, Canadian, two-year schools, and other affiliations.
 
The Division II and III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2017-18 DII and DIII Academic All-America® teams.
