A native of Rock Island, Tenn., Dale Dunlap enters his second year as a graduate assistant at NSU coaching the outside linebackers. A former linebacker, he played that position for two years at Cumberland University (Tenn.) before transferring to Tennessee Tech, where he received his bachelor’s degree in history in 2006.
Dunlap had made previous coaching stops at Sequatchie County High School, Sunbright High School and Carter High School, working primarily with the defense, including two stints as defensive coordinator. Dunlap, who is working toward his master’s degree in secondary school administration at NSU, will be in charge of the outside linebackers on the field.
Dunlap and his wife Mallory, a native of Murfreesboro, Tenn., have a yellow lab, Molly.
