Northern State University Athletics

Ralph Kemnitz tried out for sports ten times and earned ten varsity letters.  He won four in football and three each in basketball and track.  Kemnitz played football from 1936-41 and in his senior year, was captain of a 5-1-1 squad.  In track, he was a two-time low hurdles conference champion and a member of two SDIC title teams.
