Northern State University Athletics

Larry Sutton was a member of two Northern football teams that qualified for the NAIA playoffs.  He lettered for four years from 1968-71.  Sutton also lettered one year in track.  Sutton was named to the all-regional and all-conference teams two times each.  He was elected offensive captain for the football team.  Sutton was offered a professional football contract as a wide receiver after graduation. 

Sutton and his wife, Sandra, have three children.
